LABACE 2016
Through the years as LABACE (Latin American Business Aviation Conference & Exhibition) has brought together the interests of the exhibiting companies and of the target public, it has become Latin America's largest business aviation event. ABAG feels pride, but also feels responsible for maintaining this credibility despite the challenges of the ups and downs of economic cycles, especially this year, 2016.
ABAG (the Brazilian Association for General Aviation), organizer of LABACE, when inviting authorities for the opening ceremony seeks to strengthen its “General Aviation – National Asset” campaign, and emphasize the important role General Aviation plays in Brazil's growth and in connecting all regions of Brazil, being present in more than 3,500 aerodromes.
The 2016 Olympic Games taking place in Rio de Janeiro, with additional events in Belo Horizonte, Brasilia and São Paulo, will place extra demands on air space and airports. Brazilian Business Aviation firms have committed to operations in support of the Olympics and the participants and public the Games will bring. In light of this, LABACE was pushed back two weeks, and will run from Tuesday, August 30 to Thursday, September 1, 2016.
During the three days of LABACE 2016, our exhibitors – Brazilian and foreign companies, manufacturers, operators, maintenance shops, interior finishers, equipment providers and builders of new airports for general aviation – will bring the public up to date with all that's new in the sectors.
