As for flight attendants, efforts demanded by management are quite similar: they should spend 550-650 hours per year on medium-haul (+ 18.2%) and 650-750 hours per year (+ 15 %) on long-haul. Final stretch of negotiations.
The company personnel enters the final stretch of negotiations to implement the Plan Perform 2020. This plan is expected to produce an operating profit of € 750 million in 2017.
The deadline for negotiations is set for September 30th. If agreement won't be reached, management will then go to "Plan B" that means to reduce by 10% the number of its long-haul flights and to make forced redundancies. Main source of profits for the company, long-haul flights in turn plunge into the red: now 50% are profitable. The management will detail the job cuts on October 5.
