ExecuJet MRO Services Malaysia completes its first heavy check on Falcon 8X

ExecuJet MRO Services Malaysia, a fully owned Dassault Aviation subsidiary, has successfully completed a C‑check on a Falcon 8X—the first heavy maintenance event for this aircraft type in the region, underscoring the rising demand for advanced MRO capabilities across Asia. The Asia‑based Falcon 8X underwent its scheduled inspection at ExecuJet MRO Services Malaysia’s heavy maintenance centre at Subang Airport, a facility equipped to perform major inspections on every Falcon model currently in production.

A Falcon C‑inspection is a major scheduled maintenance event involving an in‑depth examination of the aircraft’s structures, systems, and components, typically carried out once the jet reaches around eight years of service.

For ExecuJet MRO Services Malaysia, this project marks an important milestone, reinforcing a clear shift among Asia‑based Falcon operators who increasingly prefer to conduct heavy maintenance within the region. The Subang facility is already slated for additional Falcon 8X C‑inspections this year, with aircraft arriving from multiple Asian markets.

Recent data from Asian Sky highlights the Falcon 8X as one of the region’s preferred ultra‑long‑range business jets, with nearly 20 aircraft currently in operation across Asia Pacific.

Today, Falcon aircraft continue to represent a growing share of the facility's maintenance activity, accounting for 60%-65% of the total workload.
