High-speed internet now available on PC-24 Super Versatile Jet
Pilatus announced the introduction of Gogo Galileo as a factory-installed connectivity option for the PC-24, delivering global, high-speed broadband to the world’s first and only Super Versatile Jet. The system is set to enter service, bringing fast, low-latency connectivity to owners wherever they fly. The system is certified by FAA and EASA. New connectivity solution built on the OneWeb Low Earth Orbit network enables passengers to stay seamlessly connected in flight, supporting internet access at altitude. This latest upgrade transforms the PC-24 cabin into a fully functional office and entertainment space, meeting the growing demand for uninterrupted productivity and streaming while traveling.
The position and shape of the antenna fairings were chosen to minimize drag and any impact on the aircraft’s aerodynamic performance. The resulting design has a negligible effect on the Pilatus PC-24’s take-off performance, climb rate, or speed, with performance remaining consistently excellent. The antenna has also been engineered to prevent unwanted noise, with careful attention to weight and balance to avoid any adverse effects, delivering an integrated solution typical of OEM-level design.
With high upload and download speeds, Gogo Galileo delivers a reliable in-flight connectivity experience. The system offers global coverage with consistent performance, low latency suited for modern applications such as video conferencing and cloud-based tools, and a future-ready platform designed to meet evolving passenger expectations. Flexible service plans and worldwide availability make it an ideal solution for operators seeking to provide best-in-class connectivity and enhance the overall passenger experience. The system is also retrofittable on in-service PC-24s, extending next-generation connectivity benefits beyond new deliveries.
Pilatus developed a new in-flight entertainment system in collaboration with Lufthansa Technik. It features a ten-inch touchscreen with a 3D moving map displaying the real-time position of the PC-24, four high-quality cabin loudspeakers including a subwoofer, mood lighting, USB ports, and dedicated media storage – and Wifi-Internet connection. In addition, the new PC-24 Super Versatile Jet offers the option of a large side-facing divan – a first in this class of aircraft. Just under two meters in length, it can be converted into a bed during flight and includes integrated storage for pillows and blankets.
