Meridian got Challenger 605
In September JSC Meridian airlines has completed the procedure of certification for a new aircraft type - Challenger 605. The aircraft is included in the company's AOC with the tail number EI-TAT. The aircraft will be based in Bugulma Airport.
As BizavNews were told, the aircraft is registered in Ireland Registry and is operated by Meridian airlines based on Intergovernmental agreement between Irish and Russian aviation authorities. Ireland aeronautical authorities completed full audit of the airline to confirmed the safe operation and maintenance of the aircraft.
During type certification procedures Meridian got ATC CAE Dubai approval. Federal Air Transport Agency conducted an audit of the center and educational programs.

Currently "Meridian" is the only airline in the CIS and the third - outside European Union, able to offer its flightworthiness services of for aircraft owners and operators with European registration, as well as registered in Bermuda and the Cayman Islands, the Isle of Man, Aruba and Malta.
The fleet also includes Gulfstream G450, Hawker 750 and Tu-134.
