Independent Falcon Aircraft Operators Association prepares for second annual meeting
The Independent Falcon Aircraft Operators Association will hold its second annual meeting on September 26 and 27, 2023, in Dallas. Last year’s event welcomed more than 70 owner/operators and flight department members representing more than 60 aircraft. The IFAOA will offer a program of technical and social content with a goal of building community. Presentations will cover topics including market valuation, cabin and cockpit upgrades, connectivity, and engine and airframe maintenance.
Sean Lynch, group organizer, commented: “It was an honor to welcome owners, operators, directors of operations, directors of maintenance, pilots and technicians for discussion and fellowship last year. It was a really engaging event. We expect the great discussions to continue this year.”
Brandon Luthens with Club Jet, said: “Costs associated with owning, operating and maintaining these aircraft have been growing more rapidly in the last few years and there isn’t enough being done to bring in more competition in the aftermarket, especially on the legacy Falcons.”
Members, some of whom have been heavily involved with the care of Falcon aircraft for more than three decades, appreciated having an independent organization provide a method of aligning many individual voices into one stronger, well-organized sounding board.
The IFAOA was founded by Dallas-based aviation entrepreneur Sean Lynch to create a community for Falcon aircraft owners and operators. With well over 140 members to date, the IFAOA is focused on sharing experiences and providing resources to keep the fleet operating economically for many years to come. IFAOA members operate Falcon 10s, 20s, 50s, 900s, 2000s and a 7X.
The event will begin with a reception and dinner at the Frontiers of Flight Museum on Tuesday, Sept. 26. The technical sessions will be hosted at the Frontiers of Flight Museum the following day.
The free event is limited to IFAOA members and sponsors, who can RSVP here: https://www.independentfalconaircraft.com/events.
