Aerocardal appointed authorized service center for L 410 NG aircraft in South America
Aerocardal appointed as an authorized service and maintenance center in South America for the L 410 NG aircraft, in collaboration with Aircraft Industries, the aircraft’s manufacturer. The agreement was signed during FIDAE 2025, one of the region’s leading aerospace exhibitions. The designation establishes Aerocardal as a key regional partner for the support of the L 410 NG platform, expanding maintenance, airworthiness, and technical service capabilities for operators across South America. The appointment builds on an existing relationship between the two companies, with Aerocardal already operating a fleet of three L 410 NG aircraft and serving as the authorized sales partner for the platform across the Americas.
As an authorized service center, Aerocardal will provide scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, technical support, and access to manufacturer-backed resources, including spare parts, tools, and service documentation. The scope also includes the development of dedicated training programs for maintenance personnel, including on-the-job training specific to the L 410 NG, as well as the implementation of specialized equipment required to support the aircraft.
Ricardo Real, CEO of Aerocardal commented: “This designation reflects the work we have been doing to build the right technical foundation for the L 410 NG in the region. Operating the aircraft ourselves and supporting its commercial development in the Americas gives us a practical understanding of what operators need on the ground. This is a natural step in expanding that support.”
Stepan Skorepa, Commercial Director Aircraft Industries stated: “Appointing Aerocardal as an authorized service center strengthens our ability to support L 410 NG operators in South America. Having a partner that not only understands the aircraft from an operational standpoint but is also actively developing the market in the Americas adds significant value to the overall support network.”
Aircraft Industries will support Aerocardal through the provision of technical know-how, engineering guidance, and documentation, ensuring that maintenance activities meet the manufacturer’s specifications and regulatory standards.
Reducing operational friction for regional operators
The appointment is expected to improve service accessibility for operators, reducing the need for long-distance maintenance positioning and supporting more efficient aircraft operations within South America. For operators flying into remote or infrastructure-limited environments, localized support plays a direct role in minimizing downtime and maintaining schedule reliability.
The L 410 NG is a twin-engine turboprop designed for regional connectivity, including operations in remote areas and on short or unpaved runways. As the aircraft continues to expand its presence globally, localized maintenance support is becoming an increasingly important component of its operational ecosystem.
A vertically integrated approach to the L 410 NG in the Americas
With a fleet of three aircraft in operation, direct involvement in sales across the Americas, and now certified maintenance capabilities, Aerocardal’s position in the L 410 NG ecosystem extends across the full lifecycle of the aircraft in the region. This alignment between operations, sales, and maintenance is expected to provide operators with a more consistent and practical support structure, grounded in day-to-day aircraft experience.
