StandardAero Signs Long-Term APU Maintenance Agreement with Mandarin Airlines
StandardAero signed a six-year contract with Mandarin Airlines to perform customized maintenance, repair and overhaul services for APS2300 auxiliary power units (APUs) on its fleet of Embraer ERJ190 regional aircraft. The contract is StandardAero’s first APU program in Republic of China (Taiwan) and the new contract is expected to continue until December 31, 2021, when Mandarin anticipates the retirement of its existing fleet.
StandardAero is an OEM-approved APS2300 APU Authorized Repair Facility, and as such, the company’s certified APU technicians have completed extensive OEM factory training provide customers with the most comprehensive, experienced and OEM-approved service in the industry. Mandarin Airlines’ APUs will be serviced at StandardAero’s Maryville, Tennessee facility.
Mandarin Airlines is based in Taipei, Republic of China. The Taiwanese carrier operates domestic and regional international flights. The airline services passengers in Taiwan and mainland China as well as destinations in Hong Kong, Philippines, Vietnam, Japan and South Korea.
