Airbus Delivers 90 Planes to China in Jan.-Aug.
European plane maker Airbus has delivered up to 90 new aircraft to China from January to August this year, the company revealed today in the Aviation Expo China 2015 in Beijing.
According to the delivery plan, Airbus will deliver over 100 airplanes to China for the six consecutive year in 2015.
For the first eight months ending on Aug. 31, Airbus has delivered 90 aircraft from its Toulouse (France), Hamburger (German) and Tianjin assembly lines to China, accounting for more than 20% of Airbus' total delivery (397) during the same period.
90 airplanes include 17 sing-aisle A320 aircraft (33 assembled in Airbus Tianjin assembly line) and 13 A330 aircraft.
From 2010, Airbus has delivered over 100 aircraft each year to China for five years - 111 in 2010, 114 in 2011, 125 in 2012, 133 in 2013 and 153 in 2014. This year will be the sixth year.
