【Background】
The global aviation industry is at the historical intersection of recovery and change. According to COMAC's Annual Market Forecast (2024-2043), China's aviation market will receive 9,323 jetliners (including 821 regional airliners, 6,881 single-aisle airliners, and 1,621 twin-aisle airliners) over the next 20 years, making it the core engine of global growth. Meanwhile, the International Air Transport Association (IATA) forecasts that global passenger turnover will continue to expand at an average annual rate of 3.75% to exceed 20.83 trillion passenger kilometers in 2043, confirming the long-term resilience of air transport demand.
In the face of the current challenges, the continuous fluctuation of the global supply chain and the potential bottlenecks of key subsystems pose a severe test to the industry's resilience, the increasingly stringent environmental protection regulations put forward higher requirements for system energy efficiency and emissions, and the synchronized evolution of complex system integration, cybersecurity, and the process of airworthiness validation also urgently requires collaborative innovation and breakthroughs in both upstream and downstream of the industry chain.
