SCAC and Aero Mongolia signed the Letter of Intent that determined the interest of the Mongolian airline towards adding SSJ100 to its fleet.
Till the end of 2018 the companies have intentions to sign an agreement on the two SSJ100 aircraft with start of delivery in 2019.
“We are ready for the negotiations with our foreign partners from Aero Mongolia and we, on our side, are ready to offer them SSJ100 able to resolve their business issues considering the current route network as well as after its upcoming broadening” – noted the President of the Sukhoi Civil Aircraft Company Alexander Rubtsov.
Mongolian air carrier is based in the Ulan-Bator international airport named in honor of Genghis Khan and performs flights both inside the country as well as to its closest neighbors.
Superjet 100 (SSJ100) is a new-generation Russian commercial jet developed and produced by SCAC. SSJ100 was designed with the latest technologies, ensuring operational efficiency and a high level of passenger comfort. The SSJ100 can be operated on both short and medium distance routes. SCAC manufactures the commercial airliners SSJ100, a version of the Business Jet (SBJ) and special-purpose aircraft. The SSJ100 commercial operation started in 2011.
