Aviation services group Air Partner has signed a 10-week contract with a multi-national oil firm to charter flights to transport workers to and from the Netherlands twice a week from Aberdeen.
Air Partner has also revealed that Baines Simmons, the aviation safety consultancy it acquired in August this year, is to offer Air Partner’s oil and gas clients safety and airworthiness audits and assessment services.
Chief executive Mark Briffa, said: “Following our recent acquisition of Baines Simmons, we have been able to extend our client offering to include aviation safety consulting and we are delighted with the feedback we have received so far.”
Air Partner, which is headquartered at Gatwick Airport near London, has emergency planning contracts with four of the 10 largest oil and gas companies and has completed numerous global contracts for the oil and gas industry.
