This week the Latvian airline airBaltic celebrates the 10th anniversary of its Vilnius – Stockholm, Arlanda service.

Wolfgang Reuss, SVP of Network Management of airBaltic: “With our Horizon 2021 business plan, we are aiming at operating 11 direct routes out of Vilnius and Tallinn in the next five years. We are happy that since successful restructuring and achieving profitability over three consecutive years, we are improving our connectivity for Vilnius, and will continue to do so for the routes where the demand is strong.”

airBaltic launched its Vilnius – Stockholm service on March 26, 2006. For this year, airBaltic has improved its existing services for Vilnius to better meet demand, and will launch a new direct route between Vilnius and Tallinn on April 18, 2016 to reinforce connections within the Baltic region.
