airBaltic has passed operational safety audit on the compliance with the International Air Transport Association’s (IATA) Operations Safety standards that was recently carried out by well-known and reliable Audit Organisation Aviation Quality Services. IATA member airlines are subject to a thorough audit every two years against the IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) standards.

Martin Gauss, CEO of airBaltic: “Safety is the main priority of our airline. We have been IOSA registered since 2006. Our professional team is committed to excellence in safety, in order to provide reliable services to our passengers.”

The audit was conducted by a team of five experienced auditors and lasted for five days, allowing detailed review of 927 standards and recommended practices across eight operational areas contributing towards safe and reliable passengers and cargo transportation on airBaltic network.

Currently airBaltic performs direct flights from Riga, Tallinn and Vilnius to various European business hubs and popular leisure destinations. A complete schedule of airBaltic flights can be found on the company's homepage at www.airbaltic.com.
