Cairo has received permission from Moscow to reopen air freight for delivery of Egyptian products. This was announced by Ambassador of Egypt to Russia Mohammed El-Badri, reports RIA Novosti.

Answering the question about the substitution of Turkish products, the diplomat said that Cairo is ready to "use all its capabilities to meet the needs of the Russian market". Egyptian manufacturers are ready to offer a variety of fruits and vegetables.

Mohammed El-Badri told about held last Wednesday, December 2, a meeting with representatives of the Ministry of agriculture of Russia. "We discussed the list of goods, needed by Russia, the specifications. All of this information we have already handed over to Egypt", he said. Air service to Egypt was suspended after the crash of the Russian Airbus A321 of airline "Kogalymavia". The airliner, flying from Sharm El Sheikh to St Petersburg, crashed October 31 in the Northern Sinai as a result of an improvised bomb on Board. All passengers and crew members 224 people, including 25 children — perished. Responsibility for the attack claimed by the militant group "wilayat Sinai" sworn forbidden in Russia of the terrorist organization "Islamic state".
