Emirates will introduce its latest-generation Airbus A350 on the Dubai-Mauritius route from 1 November 2026, replacing the Boeing 777 currently operating the carrier’s daily EK709/710 service. Configured in a three-class layout, the Emirates A350 will accommodate 298 passengers, including 32 Business Class seats, 28 Premium Economy seats and 238 Economy Class seats.
The deployment further strengthens Emirates’ offering to Mauritius, complementing the airline’s two additional daily services operated by its flagship Airbus A380. Both A380 flights also feature Emirates’ highly regarded Premium Economy cabin, providing travellers with enhanced comfort and choice.
Beyond seamless connections to Dubai, passengers travelling from Mauritius will gain access to Emirates’ extensive global network, with onward connections to more than 70 destinations across Europe, Asia and the Americas.
Oomar Ramtoola, Emirates’ Manager for the Indian Ocean Islands, commented: “The arrival of the A350 marks another important step in Emirates’ continued investment in Mauritius. Our latest-generation A350 will introduce our new Business Class experience to the route, alongside Premium Economy, which is available on a growing list of routes in our network, in addition to a range of new onboard technologies. We are pleased to offer our customers even greater choice and comfort when travelling between Mauritius and Dubai, and onwards across our global network. Together with our two daily A380 services, the deployment of the A350 demonstrates the importance of Mauritius within our network and our commitment to continuously enhancing the travel experience for our customers."
