GE Capital Aviation Services Purchase-and-Leaseback Transaction for Two Airbus A350s with Finnair

GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS), the commercial aircraft leasing and financing arm of GE, today announced it completed a purchase-and-leaseback transaction involving two new Airbus A350-900 XWB aircraft with Finnair. The aircraft delivered in October and December and are part of Finnair’s long-haul fleet renewal program.

The flag carrier of Finland, Finnair is one of the oldest continually operating airlines in the world, carrying approximately 10 million passengers annually with a fleet of about 70 aircraft. With an emphasis on fast connections via Helsinki, Finnair connects 17 cities in Asia and three cities in the U.S. with more than 60 destinations in Europe.
