Hong Kong Airlines invites talents to join its team at this year Hong Kong International Airport Career Expo, with around 100 job openings available. Co-organised by the Airport Authority and the Labour Department, the HKIA Career Expo is back at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, showcasing a variety of job opportunities offered by more than 50 companies to support the fast-paced recovery of Hong Kong's aviation industry.

This year, Hong Kong Airlines is offering a diverse range of positions within its operations, including roles in cabin service, engineering, frontline operations, and back-office functions. To assist prospective candidates in making informed career decisions, Ms Viola Wong, Director of Human Resources of Hong Kong Airlines, shared her views on several key topics, including career progression and future prospects at the career talk session.

She stated: "In response to the swift resumption of flights, the company reactivated its recruitment programme at the beginning of the year. Despite the fierce competition in the local and international talent markets, Hong Kong Airlines has successfully met its recruitment targets for the first half of the year. The company plans to continue its search for talented individuals to join its expanding team.”

As one of Hong Kong's local carriers, Hong Kong Airlines is dedicated to long-term growth. It recently expanded its A330 fleet with three additional wide-body aircraft and extended its reach in the region by launching new services to Beijing Daxing, Phuket, Nagoya, and Fukuoka. This expansion takes its network coverage to over 20 destinations across the Asia-Pacific region. The Company aims to resume service to even more destinations this year and looks forward to the continued growth of the team at the HKA Training Academy, which provides state-of-the-art training facilities for ground and inflight operations.

SATS HK Limited (SATS), the ground service provider for Hong Kong Airlines, is also participating in the Expo and offering vacancies in ground handling services. Interested applicants are encouraged to submit application at the booth.
