LATAM announced its new Premium Comfort cabin, a proposal set to transform the experience on long-haul international flights. With an investment of over US$100 million, this initiative highlights LATAM’s commitment to innovation, design, and customer satisfaction, providing a mid-tier option that combines comfort, service, and cutting-edge technology.
Positioned between the Premium Business and Economy cabins, the new Premium Comfort cabin is designed for travelers seeking the ideal balance between rest and productivity. This new space will offer an exclusive environment with wider seats, greater recline, increased pitch, and lower passenger density, resulting in significantly enhanced onboard comfort and privacy.

Paulo Miranda, Vice President of Customers at LATAM Airlines Group commented: “Premium Comfort reflects our deep understanding of our customers’ evolving needs and our commitment to providing more options so every passenger can travel the way they want. It is a product that combines comfort, space, and high-level service with exceptional value, and it also represents a statement of how we envision the future of flying from South America to the world: a journey where privacy, design, and the warmth of our region come together to create a unique experience,” said Paulo Miranda, Vice President of Customers at LATAM Airlines Group.
The onboard experience will be enriched with a carefully curated gastronomic offering and personalized service to elevate every moment of the journey. For entertainment and connectivity, Premium Comfort will feature 16-inch 4K screens, Bluetooth connectivity, fast-charging USB-C ports, and individual power outlets, ensuring passengers remain connected and entertained throughout the flight. New cabin will initially be available on select long-haul routes, starting with the Boeing 787 fleet in 2027. Specific route and booking details will be announced soon on latam.com and through the usual channels.
