Zhejiang Loong Airlines (GJ) took delivery of a brand new Airbus A320 aircraft at Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport (HGH) on September 6, which is the airline's eighth A320s in service.
The new A320, Registration B-1676, brings Loong Air's fleet to 11 aircraft. According to the fleet introduction plan, the Hangzhou-based carrier will expand its fleet to 16 by the end of 2015, with three A320s and two Boeing 737Fs pending delivery.
Loong Air has opened tourist routes from Hangzhou to Hailar, Bijie, Lijiang, Luoyang, Wuhan, Xining, Yinchuan, Dalian, Harbin, Lijiang, Tianjin and etc. In order to meet the demand of the rapid growth of air market, the airline launched three new routes to Kunming, Lijiang and Tianjin.
Commencing services on December 29, 2013, the airline continues its development at a fast pace and has launched services to 34 domestic cities from Hangzhou base. Besides, the carrier plans to expand its services toward Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, South Korea, Japan and other international cities and regions in the future.
