Proflight Air Services (P0, Lusaka ) commercial director Keira Irwin has told Flightglobal on the sidelines of the World Routes conference in Durban King Shaka that the Zambian carrier is planning to retire its fleet of four Jetstream 32  turboprops by the end of 2016.

Proflight currently dry-leases a single CRJ-100 from South Africa's CemAir (5Z, Johannesburg O.R.Tambo) and plans to take delivery of additional CRJ-100s over the course of the next few years. The carrier also has a fleet of three Jetstream 41s (that it plans to retire at a later point in time) and operates a wide range of different smaller turboprop and piston aircraft on domestic scheduled and charter flights.

Proflight currently uses its Jetstream 32s from Lusaka to Lilongwe and Solwezi.
