Sevenair , the Portuguese airline specialized in regional flights has returned to São Tomé e Príncipe operating a BAe Jetstream 32, registration CS-DVQ, for STP Airways on an ACMI contract with the first flights fully booked.
“We operated between May and September for STP Airways and both the relationship with the airline and the feedback from passengers was highly positive. Unfortunately we had to cease the contract due to the need of the aircraft to perform a heavy maintenance. But we kept the channels open and now we managed to sign a new contract that I believe is positive for all parties. We will operate in São Tomé e Príncipe connecting the islands for at least 6 months and we started the operation on December 1st.”
The Jetstream 32 is a pressurized turboprop regional aircraft able to carry 19 passengers. Sevenair has operated the type for almost 10 years and has operated in over 10 countries in scheduled and ACMI contracts.
