Sky Angkor Airlines (ZA, Phnom Penh) has signed a five-year co-operation agreement with the Small Planet Group. Under the agreement's terms, each winter Small Planet Airlines (S5, Vilnius) will base part of its fleet in Asia to provide capacity to the fledgling Cambodian operator. From November 2015 to March 2016, four A320-200s will be used transport tourists, among others, on flights from Siem Reap to several cities in China and South Korea.

The deal will help Small Planet cope with the seasonal European market with the aircraft returning to Lithuania during the summer season.

"This is the largest contract in the history of Small Planet Airlines in terms of the utilization of our aircraft outside Europe," Jaroslaw Jeschke, president of Small Planet Airlines in Poland, said in a statement. "It fits perfectly into our strategy of maximizing the utilization of the fleet in winter."

Aside from its contract with Sky Angkor Airlines, Small Planet has also announced plans to base two A320-200s out of Bangkok Don Mueang this autumn for its fledgling Small Planet Airlines Thailand(Bangkok Don Mueang) subsidiary.
