Decked out in luxury, the airline will begin flights from Taipei to Europe at the end of this year in the new planes. It’s the inside of the jet that will capture the most attention though. Designed by Taiwanese designer Ray Chen, the new A350s follow suit with Chen’s previous flawless designs of China Airlines’ flagship lounge at Taipei’s Taoyuan Airport Terminal 1 which takes inspiration from modern Chinese art and architecture.

Creature comforts on the new China Airlines includes seats which can convert into a 78 inch full flat bed. Entertainment is sorted with a massive 18 inch video screen whilst LED mood lighting keeps things elegantly lit.

When passengers have had enough of business class, they can venture to the Sky Bistro bar which offers a host of self-serve drinks and snacks.

Beyond the business class are 31 premium economy seats set up in rows of 2-3-2 with decent 20 inch wide seats with a 39 inch pitch for comfort. This makes it seven inches wider than the standard A350’s 3-3-3 layout.

For connectivity, all passengers on the new China Airlines A350 will be able to use the inflight satellite internet service.
