SWISS is adjusting its fleet at its Geneva base for summer 2027. The airline will replace two Airbus A220-300s with two Airbus A320neos. This will create additional seats on the high-demand Geneva–London Heathrow route.
More seats on an important route
SWISS will deploy the two Airbus A320neos on its Geneva–London Heathrow route. This is one of the most in-demand routes from Geneva. The aircraft change will create additional capacity on the route and further strengthen SWISS’s offering for travelers.
SWISS CEO Jens Fehlinger commented: “This sends a strong signal for our Geneva base. We want to secure our position in Geneva for the long term and continue to strengthen it with targeted measures. An attractive, demand-oriented and profitable route network plays a decisive role in this.”
SWISS will finalize the operational details for its 2027 summer timetable over the coming weeks. The summer timetable will be in effect from 28 March to 30 October 2027.
