There are no restrictions on reservations for the flights of the Russian airline Transaero, the press service of the airline said on Friday.
"In the light of inquiries from the media, we would like to inform on the absence of any restrictions on reservations for Transaero flights," the report said. "This is confirmed by a telegram from the Federal Air Transport Agency our airline received on September 4, 2015."
As reported earlier, a meeting chaired by Russia’s First Deputy Prime Minister Igor Shuvalov on September 1 endorsed a purchase of a stake amounting to 75% plus one share in Transaero by the national flag carrier Aeroflot. The price of the transaction was one Russian ruble.
As of June 1, 2015, Transaero’s debt totaled 250 billion rubles, or about $ 3.7 billion at the current exchange rate.
