Turkish Airlines has extended the suspension of its flights to and from Egypt’s Sharm el-Sheikh until January 1, the company said in a statement on Tuesday.

“Because of security issues over the airfield of Sharm El Sheikh our flights has been mutually canceled till 1st January 2016,” the statement reads.

The company suspended the flights until November 30 after the Russian Federal Security Service confirmed suspicions that an explosive device cause the crash of an Airbus A321, operated by Russia’s Kogalymavia.

The plane, en route from the resort to the Russian city of St. Petersburg, crashed over the Sinai Peninsula on October 31. All of the 224 people on board were killed in the accident.
