Xiamen Air (MF) took delivery of a brand new B737-800 aircraft on Sep. 5, marking the carrier's 125th airplane.

The new Boeing jetliner, Registration B-6489, became the 12th new plane introduced by the carrier this year.

Xiamen Air, which is 51 percent owned by China Southern Airlines (CZ), currently operates a fleet of 125 Boeing aircraft, including 17 737-700s, 97 737-800s, six 757-200s and five 787 Dreamliners.
