dnata Catering & Retail Singapore commenced inflight catering services for Air Macau at Singapore Changi Airport, further expanding its long-standing partnership with the Air China Group. Under the new agreement, dnata will support Air Macau’s daily operations in Singapore, producing an estimated 54,000 meals annually across business and economy cabins.
With the addition of Air Macau, dnata now caters for all Air China Group airlines operating in Singapore – Air China, Shenzhen Airlines, Shandong Airlines and Air Macau – handling a combined 5,100 flights and 580,000 meals per year for the group at Changi. The milestone builds on a well-established relationship, with dnata supporting Air China for over 20 years, alongside nearly a decade of partnerships with Shenzhen Airlines and Shandong Airlines in Singapore.
Matthew Igo Ball, Managing Director, dnata Catering & Retail Singapore, commented: “Welcoming Air Macau into our portfolio further strengthens our partnership with the Air China Group in Singapore. We support the group’s full network at Changi Airport, delivering more than half a million meals annually across its operations. This scale reflects the trust our partners place in our teams, and our ability to deliver consistent, high-quality inflight dining at pace. As we continue to grow with our airline customers, our focus remains on operational excellence and menus that meet the evolving expectations of international travellers.”
Operating from its 23,000-square-metre facility at Singapore Changi Airport, dnata Catering & Retail Singapore delivers inflight dining and retail solutions at scale, producing approximately 6.5 million meals annually for more than 30 airline customers. The operation is supported by a team of over 500 employees, combining culinary expertise with operational reliability to serve a diverse portfolio of international carriers.
