EVA Air (BR) flight BR191 from Tokyo Haneda International Airport (HND) to Taipei Songshan Airport (TSA) was diverted to Hong Kong after circling for over 1 hour above typhoon-hit Taipei region yesterday.

After the captain onboard flight BR191 failed to land the aircraft at Taipei Songshan Airport for three times, he decided to divert to Macao International Airport (MFM) due that three airports in Taipei were all unable to accept landings. Finally the aircraft was forced to make an alternative landing at HK airport, for no extra parking stands were left at Macao airport.

Passengers waited for further arrangements to fly back to Taiwan.
