Jetex and iGA Istanbul Airport have inaugurated the Jetex iGA Terminal. The strategic investment elevates Istanbul's position in the international aviation ecosystem and reinforces Türkiye's standing as a reliable harbour for global investors. The opening ceremony was attended by H.E. Abdulkadir Uraloğlu, Minister of Transport andInfrastructure of the Republic of Türkiye; Cemal Kalyoncu, Chair of the Board of iGA; Selahattin Bilgen, CEO of iGA; Adel Mardini, Founder and CEO of Jetex; as well as representatives from the aviation industry and members of the press.

Jetex iGA Terminal is designed to welcome international commercial airline passengers and private jet travelers, merging the global expertise of Jetex with iGA's operational strength and the warmth of Türkiye's hospitality. Conceived as a landmark investment that enhances Türkiye's global brand value, the terminal will bolster the country’s standing among international investors while driving growth in tourism and business mobility.

Chair of the Board of iGA, Cemal Kalyoncu underscored the airport’s role as a global gateway: "One of the greatest projects in the history of the Turkish Republic, iGA Istanbul Airport has risen to become the hub of global aviation — serving over 140 countries and 340+ destinations following a record-breaking construction period of just 42 months. Designed not merely as an airport but as a legacy for future generations, this landmark project contributes significantly to our nation's economy, tourism, and international trade, while standing as the most tangible proof that Türkiye is an island of stability and a safe harbor in an uncertain world. With passenger capacity expanding to 120 million, a fourth runway set to open in the second half of the year, ongoing hotel investments, and the inauguration of the JETEX-iGA General Aviation Terminal today, iGA Istanbul Airport is firmly committed to becoming the world's premier destination in private aviation as well."

Jetex Founder and CEO, Adel Mardini, stated the new terminal: We are thrilled to expand our global network with the launch of Jetex Istanbul alongside our valued partner iGA. Istanbul is a multicultural hub where thousands of years of history and culture blend with youthful, dynamic energy. We have put tremendous effort into crafting a state-of-the-art experience for both private jet and commercial airline travelers, and we look forward to welcoming the world here with award-winning Jetex hospitality.”

The terminal’s architecture draws inspiration from Istanbul’s iconic nazende çiçeği (slender flower), featuring natural stone, wood and custom-crafted surfaces that create a distinctive and comfortable travel environment. Far more than a transit point, the terminal offers a private members’ club atmosphere with seamless, personalized service covering every step of the journey - before, after or between the flights.

Highlights include:

• Private suites featuring relaxation areas, dining spaces, en-suite bathrooms and dedicated service teams;
• Luxurious lounges with full concierge services;
• Expedited passport and security formalities through dedicated checkpoints.

The facility caters to both commercial airline passengers and private jet travelers by reservation.
