Kenya Airways has cancelled its weekend flights to Juba, South Sudan, following closure of the international airport’s runway for repairs.

Authorities in South Sudan announced closure of the runway every Saturday and Sunday from last week until April 30, 2016. This will affect all airlines operating into Juba.

Kenya Airways operates twice daily to Juba on Saturday and Sunday, on the Embraer 190. The airline has blocked bookings on these two days since last month to minimize impact on passengers. Passengers who had already booked to travel on the affected days have been rebooked to weekdays and notified by the airline.

Our daily flights to Juba between Monday and Friday will continue as normal.
