LIAT, The Caribbean Airline, will reintroduce services between Antigua and Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic, effective 15 December 2015. LIATwill offer three flights a week, every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday.

Flights depart Antigua at 1015 arriving into Santo Domingo at 1225. The service returns from Santo Domingo at 1320, arriving back into Antigua at 1530. This schedule remains in effect until 21 January, when it will change and services will be as follows: Flights will operate on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday and depart Antigua at 2025, arriving into Santo Domingo at 2235. The return flight departs at 2305, arriving back into Antigua at 0115, the next day.*

Customers booking a return flight from Antigua to the Dominican Republic, or from Santo Domingo to Antigua on flight numbers LI 500/501 between 23 October and 30 November 2015 for travel from 15 December 2015 until 31 May 2016 will enjoy great fares from as low as US$ 299 inclusive of all taxes.

Commenting on the new service, David Evans, CEO of LIAT said: “We are pleased to be flying back into Santo Domingo. There has been much demand for this service, and we have listened to our customers. We are delighted to be able to reintroduce the service in mid-December, which allows our customers to make plans to travel home for Christmas.”

LIAT has appointed General Air Services as its General Sales Agent for the territory. Gustavo A. de Hostos, General Air Services President and CEO commented: “We are extremely happy that LIAT has decided to operate into Santo Domingo once again. There are many people who want to travel around the Caribbean and this provides them with the opportunity to do so with the wide range of connections that LIAT offers from its hub in Antigua.
