Leading aircraft charter specialist, Air Charter Service, arranged the inaugural private jet flight from Dubai Al Maktoum’s new VIP terminal on an Embraer Legacy.
The terminal is the world’s first 7-star airport facility and this flight marked the beginning of operations at the private aviation-dedicated terminal. It is an impressive structure - a 5,600m² stand-alone terminal operating 24 hours a day, 7 days a week catering specifically to private, business and government VIP travellers. The aim of the new development is to double private jet traffic in Dubai by 2020.
Speaking on the 5th April, Andrew Summers, Managing Director of ACS Middle East, commented: “To be able to charter the first aircraft from this impressive terminal is a real honour. It is a landmark day for Middle Eastern private aviation and we are happy to be a part of today. We are looking forward to being able to offer many more of our clients charters from this stylish terminal.”
