Air Culinaire Worldwide acquired SkyTop Aircraft Catering at Westchester County Airport in White Plains, N.Y., the business aircraft caterer announced yesterday. The move brings the number of Air Culinaire kitchens to 21—all but four located in the U.S.—and increases its capacity and coverage in the New York/New Jersey area.
As part of the acquisition, Air Culinaire Worldwide has retained the current SkyTop team in White Plains. Employees of SkyTop will be training with Air Culinaire Worldwide senior kitchen employees.
“I am excited to see Air Culinaire Worldwide expand services at Westchester County Airport, as this will improve services and logistics for our clients,” said Air Culinaire vice president of sales Saverio Mongelli. “We look forward to engaging with all of SkyTop's clients in 2016.”
