The opening day of NBAA annual Schedulers and Dispatchers Conference started with a new partnership announce:  Bohlke International Airways  of St. Croix in the U.S. Virgin Islands and MN Aviation of San Juan, Puerto Rico. With Bohlke established in 1959 and MN in 1993 respectively, this agreement yields an expanded team of 60 along with a broad range of charter assets. Most recently and notably, a Falcon 900EX was added to the TJSJ-based, part 135 charter certificate under MN.

“Our goal is to be the go-to resource for private aviation in the Caribbean,” said Bohlke International Airways President, William R. Bohlke. “The Bohlke/MN partnership is a significant step toward providing a more robust aviation resource in the region, utilizing the depth of industry knowledge and client goodwill toward these two brands. The operational base of MN in the busy hub of San Juan, joining forces with Bohlke’s 60-plus years of experience in the U.S. Virgin Islands, is a business dream that has thankfully come to fruition.”

With services ranging from aircraft management to medical evacuation flights with AeroMD, the Bohlke/MN partnership expands the joint charter fleet to include Falcon 900 series; Gulfstream 100; Citation; King Air 200; Mitsubishi MU-2; and Cessna Caravan aircraft. Before month’s end, MN expects to add a G-150 to its certificate. Both companies are FAA part 135 certified, offering all N-registered aircraft.

“We are excited to combine forces after decades of working alongside one another in the region,” said Alicia Pineda, MN Aviation general manager. “For our customer base in Puerto Rico, the addition of a locally-based Falcon jet adds significant value. This partnership with Bohlke International Airways will allow us to better serve the millions of residents and visitors who come to the eastern Caribbean every year.”
