AERO 2027 aims to build on the great success of AERO 2026 with an enhanced programme for business aviation, organisers Fairnamic confirmed today.   For the second year running, AERO was Europe’s largest trade show for business aviation. Some 50 business jets and turboprops showcased, with 400-plus international exhibitors participating from the sector, versus its 2025 edition. The number of Show visitors swelled to 37,000. In addition to debutantes and numerous new innovations, aircraft orders announced on-site totalled an estimated US$500 million. (The latest, Platoon Aviation’s order for up to 16 Cessna Longitudes, was concluded at AERO, pending legal formalities, which followed just weeks later).

Tobias Bretzel, Show Director of AERO at Fairnamic GmbH, commented: “We’re delighted with the positive response and pro-active feedback from customers, who helped shape the trade show with us.  Further developing AERO generally and the AERO Business Aviation Show Hub, in collaboration with our industry partners, is our top priority.“

Two and a half day business aviation show

Reflecting exhibitor and visitor feedback, the Business Aviation Show Hub; dedicated bizav Hall A1 and the Dome will run over two and a half days, during April 14–16, 2027.   Both exhibition areas will be expanded.   Hall A1, which hosted attractions like the JetEx lounge, national business aviation associations and new Technology Aviation Business (TAB) pavilion, will be enhanced with its own entrance and superior conference stage.

Welcome to ‘Air Charter Expo Regional – Europe‘

In collaboration with The Air Charter Association and Business Air News, AERO 2027 will launch the inaugural Air Charter Expo Regional - Europe, bringing together executive charter companies, brokers, and manufacturers for a unique networking event in Hall A1.

Chief Executive of The ACA, Glenn Hogben stated: “We are excited to bring the European version of the hugely successful Air Charter Expo to AERO for 2027.   Air Charter Expo is the leading trade show for aircraft charter and business aviation, organised annually by The Air Charter Association and Business Air News, hosted by London Biggin Hill Airport. This event has grown tremendously in the past five years, and the time is right to introduce the first regional edition of the show. AERO is the perfect host for Air Charter Expo Regional, offering members and industry partners the opportunity to network and build new connections in Europe.”

Communications appointment

In other news, Fairnamic will be bolstering its international communications efforts with this Show and others in the family, with the engagement of Emerald Media, an established and well-known aviation PR agency, led by Alison Chambers. Emerald will support and work alongside Volker Thomalla, Head of Communication Aerospace Portfolio.  “We have a dream team with these experienced and pro-active advisors who know and understand the industry,” said Tobias Bretzel.

To date, over 70 exhibitors at AERO 2026 have already confirmed their participation in AERO 2027.  Exhibitors at this year’s AERO are invited to secure their usual booth locations for 2027 by the end of June to avoid disappointment.
