AMAC Aerospace is the place where teams are in constant demand. The month of September 2022 was as usual full of projects and achievements. Here are the highlights:

End of September, an AOG support request for a Gulfstream IV of a long-term customer reached AMAC Aerospace in Basel, Switzerland. AMAC reacted within a few hours and accepted the Head of State aircraft in Basel. The Gulfstream IV has been released within 24 hours, including spare procurements.

On a privately-owned Gulfstream G450, AMAC Aerospace performed a 1A, 1C, 3C and 6A check. To complete the maintenance input, AMAC’s Gulfstream team carried out a landing gear repair. The Gulfstream G450 was re-delivered within a reduced ground time as requested by the customer.

AMAC Aerospace are proud to have accomplished a 120-month inspection on a privately-owned Bombardier Global 6000. As part of the major maintenance inspection, the Bombardier team performed a landing gear overhaul and replaced the carpet of the interior cabin. In addition, a minor refurbishment package and some cabin interior repairs were carried out.

The long-term customer, based in Saudi Arabia, was fully satisfied when AMAC re-delivered the aircraft. The Global 6000 has already flown a few missions and showed no technical issues or any defects.

AMAC Aerospace re-delivered two Airbus aircraft in September. At the beginning of September, an Airbus A319 had landed in Basel, Switzerland, to undergo a 1A and 3A Check. AMAC’s technicians carried out various rectifications on the privately-owned aircraft. The long-term customer was very pleased having his aircraft re-delivered within a shortened ground time.

AMAC Airbus Team was also busy with an Airbus A340 of a long-term customer. The technicians performed multiple C-Check packages, Out of Phase (OOP) tasks and a complete cabin disassembly and re-installation. Due to corrosions major structural repairs had to be carried out on the Head of State aircraft. The team also repaired various fuel leaks and performed corrosion repairs on the landing gear and galley. The aircraft was re-delivered on time at the end of September.

At the beginning of September, AMAC Aerospace performed a Pre-Purchase Inspection (PPI) on a privately-owned Gulfstream G450. As requested by the customer, the project had to be completed within a shortened ground time. AMAC’s Gulfstream team are proud to have accomplished the project on schedule.

The new owner of the Gulfstream G450 assigned AMAC Aerospace to perform the refurbishment work on the aircraft. AMAC Aerospace are looking forward welcoming soon the Gulfstream G450 in Basel, Switzerland.
