Fly Comlux, which is included in the Comlux Group, will put into operation its new business jet SBJ (Sukhoi Business Jet) until the end of the year. After customization on Comlux America capacities this plane has a new interior and extra fuel tanks, Andrea Zanetti CEO, Fly Comlux, told BizavNews. “We plan to operate a flight from Indianapolisto Alta-Ata before the end of 2016, and in January 2017, the aircraft will already start operating its passenger flights”. Last month, the aircraft made several flights of certification in the United States.
The company did not talk about the interior details, saying only that it is one of the best design solutions for Comlux America. As for the second SBJ aircraft, Fly Comlux is in no hurry to reveal the card, citing the confidentiality of information. “For a while, our fleet includes only one aircraft of this type. If the customer decides to buy a new aircraft, the customization process will take place quickly enough, as we already have experience with this type”.
We remind herein the plane had been previously included in the air operator’s certificate and received a symbolic board number: 9H-SBJ. It is known that Comlux acts as a management company, a large Kazakh company is the owner of this aircraft, and Comlux KZ, the Kazakhstan’s representative company of Comlux, will operate this plane.
BizavNews previously wrote that initially, the plane with the LR modification (Long Range) and the layout of 103 passenger seats was assembled and painted for UTair Airlines, Russia (RA-89033 tail number), but because of well-known financial circumstances, the latter could not pay for the order.
