A new super-luxurious plane service is set to give Emirates a run for its money when it launches next year.

Boasting a Michelin-star inspired menu with a proper fine-dining room, bar and a butler service, it’s no wonder it is being heralded as the most luxurious commercial jet in existence.

The US-based travel company Crystal unveiled its privately-owned Boeing 777-200LR plane that will host the AirCruises service, seating a maximum of 84 people.

To give you a sense of how much space that means for each passenger, a typical 777-200 carries more than 300 passengers.

Flat-screen televisions.

Its first-class seats will contain fully reclining flat beds from which you can watch a large flat screened televisions with Bose noise-cancelling headphones while perusing the net using free global Wi-Fi.

Its spacious dining area will include leather seats, fine porcelain and crystal glassware. A selection of fine wines is planned for its bar.

Passengers will be given five-star treatment with on-board butlers and the menu will contain Michelin-star quality meals, inspired by local cultures, tastes and traditions.

Itineraries of 14, 21 and 28 days will be available from a “curated collection of global journeys” with stays up to three days in each exotic location.

Tickets, of course will be priced accordingly – hovering around the $65,000 mark.

he new plane is part of Crystal Cruises expansion into luxury experiences beyond cruise ships.

While we’ve seen luxurious large jets before, these are usually private planes owned by the extremely wealthy.

Last year an unnamed VIP bought their own Boeing 747-8 jumbo jet for almost $800 million, fitting it out with lounges, large bedrooms and an office
