Committed to increasing its physical footprint across the globe by opening and expanding fixed-based operations (FBOs) where there is customer demand, ExecuJet has, this year alone, added five new FBOs to its network and expanded one of its busiest FBOs, bringing its total number of locations to 23 across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Australasia and Latin America.

ExecuJet is also strengthened by its increasing FBO presence in Germany. ExecuJet's Munich FBO joined the ExecuJet family at the beginning of February 2016, becoming the company’s second handling facility in Germany after Berlin Schoenefeld, which is celebrating 10 years of FBO operations this month. A partnership with National Air Services in Saudi Arabia, formed in February, saw an additional FBO facility in the Royal Terminal at King Khalid International Airport, Riyadh, added to the ExecuJet network.

In April, ExecuJet opened its first FBO in Monterrey, Mexico as well as entering the Indian FBO market for the first time. Through a partnership with The Bird Group, ExecuJet will open its Delhi FBO at Indira Ghandi International Airport as an expansion to its existing facilities; a maintenance, planning and engineering team is expected to be in place within the next three months. Also underway is the completion of the newly-rebranded ExecuJet FBO facility in Brussels.

Gerrit Basson, CEO, ExecuJet, says: “Our FBO business continues to grow and new customers and opportunities keep presenting themselves – a true testament to the increasing strength of our brand. Our development strategy is spearheaded by anticipating the needs of our customers as well as a myriad of other factors including accessibility, political stability, economic viability and regional infrastructure.

“It is an exciting and rewarding time for us and we are committed to maintaining the momentum we have built up in terms of providing the highest service levels and distinguishing ourselves from our competitors. Each FBO provides customers with the same outstanding quality of service while also reflecting the surrounding region, giving a local flair to the ExecuJet brand.

“As ExecuJet continues to expand, investing in our business to suit the needs of our customers will remain one of the cornerstones of our success. We look forward to announcing more FBO developments later in the year.”

ExecuJet will be co-exhibiting with the Luxaviation Group at EBACE this year in Hall 6, Stand S073.
