Cirrus Aircraft announced expanded services for international owners of Cirrus aircraft to further enhance the customer experience, including the availability of international finance options through Cirrus Finance™ and the launch of an EASA-approved Vision Jet™ Training program in Europe.

Vision Jet Type Rating Available in Europe

Following tremendous growth of the Vision Jet, including becoming the world’s best-selling jet in general aviation earlier this year and delivering the 200th Vision Jet last month, Cirrus Aircraft recently announced the addition of Vision Jet Type Rating training in Europe through an exclusive partnership with Aero Poznan, located in Poznan, Poland. Aero Poznan’s program includes the ability to train in a Vision Jet simulator – the only simulator in the world outside of Cirrus Aircraft’s flagship Vision Center campus in Tennessee.

Designed to fulfill the requirements of the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), the training program at Aero Poznan provides the same world-class flight training experience as Vision Jet pilots and owners receive at Cirrus Aircraft’s Vision Center in Knoxville, Tennessee, in a convenient location for international customers located in Europe. This expanded offering of Vision Jet flight training is an important milestone of the overall Vision Jet Program and signifies a critical step in further expansion as Vision Jet Type Ratings now surpass 400 worldwide and continue to grow.

“Aero Poznan has grown into a premier flight training solution, with expert learning specialists, compelling technology and a world-class customer experience,” said Zean Nielsen, Chief Executive Officer at Cirrus Aircraft. “This additional training program has been years in the making and is an important step as we continue to elevate convenience and accessibility for our international pilots and owners.”

The new Vision Jet training program at Aero Poznan includes the ability to earn EASA Vision Jet Type Ratings, as well as complete recurrent training. Additionally, an Introduction to the Vision Jet course is also offered to prepare position holders for the type rating syllabus in advance.
