FAI Aviation Group has strengthened its commercial team with the appointment of Russian business aviation expert Victor Rudnov to therole of Director of Business Development, Russian Federation & CIS. This is a new position for the Germany-based aviation services company and reflects its growing international success.

Based in Moscow, Rudnov will be responsible for expanding FAI’s footprint in the region and aims to capitalise on the company’s market position in Europe. He will introduce the business model to the CIS and Russian market. “FAI Aviation Group has positioned itself as one of the premier providers of diversified aviation solutions with 2015 being the most successful revenue earning year yet for the business. This clearly indicates our ability to brand ourselves, and positions us well to gain significant market share,” Rudnov stated.

“As Director of Business Development in Russia & CIS, my first goal is to be a reliable resource for our charter and medevac brokerage clients, there is nothing more important than satisfying a client’s needs, and have them fully understand the enhanced business options available to them. We value highly the business generated by the client base in this region. ”

FAI Aviation Group Chairman Siegfried Axtmann believes that Rudnov’s appointment is a testament to the company’s ability to attract the private aviation industry’s brightest talent. “Victor will be a great resource to our management team and will play an important leadership role in our efforts to establish a solid market position for our business in Russia and CIS countries,” he said. “Itis no surprise that the region’s charter market is highly competitive, however, it all comes down to the people you have on your team and with  Victor on board we feel we are in the right position to be even more successful,” Axtmann continued. “I look forward to FAI Aviation Group’s continuous development in the CIS market”.
