GlobeAir is to become the first runner in enabling private jet bookings via voice search by announcing its new Amazon Alexa skill. The brand-new skill is perfect for the Smart Traveller and is now available in English and German.

Austrian private jet company GlobeAir is becoming the first bizjet company to release an Amazon Alexa skill for immediate private jet bookings. The award-winning private jet operator which has just celebrated a remarkable ten years in business, closing 2018 as the European market leader within the very light jets niche segment, is kicking off 2019 with yet another milestone: the GlobeAir Alexa skill.

‘Alexa, ask GlobeAir to search for a flight’ – The GlobeAir Amazon Alexa skill is easy to set up and intuitive to use so that passengers can request a flight via GlobeAir in the fastest way possible.

With many of the leading travelling companies putting voice search first, and over a hundred million Amazon devices sold so far – according to the latest news, GlobeAir has followed the voice-first trend and taken on the challenge to become the pioneer of voice-driven applications for private jet bookings, given the users’ ever-growing base.

As of now, The GlobeAir Alexa skill can be triggered via a set of phrases, those being ‘Alexa, ask GlobeAir to search for a flight’, ‘Alexa, ask GlobeAir what are some popular destinations', and 'Alexa, ask GlobeAir I would like to search for a flight'.

What follows is a very intuitive dialogue at the end of which you can either book your private jet or request an info call with GlobeAir’s customer care team. In both cases, the result is an almost-natural conversation between the user and the voice assistant which helps to remove all barriers to a quick and smart booking procedure.

The GlobeAir Amazon Alexa skill can cut down on planning time by making private jet bookings faster than ever, thus becoming convenient for frequent travellers.

“We strive to be on top of the latest technologies to make it easy, fast and fun for our passengers to fly via GlobeAir. Travellers are always on the lookout for the quickest ways of getting from A to B. With the GlobeAir Amazon Alexa skill, our objective is to cut down on our passenger’s travel time even before the journey has started,” says Bernhard Fragner, CEO of GlobeAir.
Coinciding with the recent Christmas holidays, GlobeAir has released the German version of the skill and has produced a GlobeAir branded Amazon Echo Dot limited edition as part of the skill’s launch campaign.
