Gulfstream Aerospace will showcase the class-leading Gulfstream G500 at AERO Friedrichshafen . The clean-sheet G500 offers best-in-class performance with advanced safety features and an optimal combination of speed, wide-cabin comfort and efficiency. G500 entered service in September 2018 and introduced the award-winning Gulfstream Symmetry Flight Deck, which features safety enhancing technology, including the industry’s first active control sidesticks and most extensive use of touch screens, along with Phase-of-Flight intelligence. Built for performance, the G500 is outfitted with high-thrust engines and an aerodynamic wing, and provides fuel-efficiency up to 33% greater than previous-generation aircraft.

Scott Neal, senior vice president, Worldwide Sales, Gulfstream, commented:“Gulfstream is seeing strong demand and a growing fleet opportunity in Germany. The fuel-efficiency, safety advances and performance capabilities of our next-generation aircraft are ideal for operators in this region. We are excited to return to Friedrichshafen and we look forward to offering customers an opportunity to experience the award-winning G500 at AERO 2024.”

The G500 cabin can be configured with up to three living areas and features the Gulfstream Cabin Experience, with 100% fresh, never recirculated air, the lowest cabin altitude in its class, quiet sound levels and abundant natural light from 14 Gulfstream Panoramic Oval Windows. The next-generation aircraft has a maximum operating speed of Mach 0.925 and can fly 5,300 nautical miles/9,816 kilometers at Mach 0.85 or 4,500 nm/8,334 km at Mach 0.90. The aircraft can link Munich to New York at Mach 0.90 or Munich to Beijing at Mach 0.87. The G500 holds more than 55 speed records; more than 125 are in service around the world.
