Krimson Aviation, the Ethiopia-based trip planning and flight support company is making its debut exhibition appearance at this year’s Aviation Africa being held in Kigali, Rwanda. The annual meeting is the continent’s leading event for the African Aerospace and Defence industries which meet for a conference and 100-exhibitor strong exhibition. It provides Krimson with an excellent platform to meet existing and new business aviation clients and partners, as well as engage with the wider commercial African aviation sector from Booth number 39.

Dawit Lemma, the company founder and Managing Director is attending the show following hard on the heels of an intense period handling more than 260 passengers during this year’s African Union summit. Over a ten-day period, starting on 3 February, Krimson’s team handled a mix of aircraft types supporting twenty-two turn-arounds across a range of aircraft, including Pilatus PC24, Gulfstream G550, Bombardier Global Express, Dassault Falcon 7X, McDonnell Douglas DC9, Boeing Business Jet, Boeing 737, and a VIP B777.  Krimson supported refuelling, over-fly permits, landing permits, hotel accommodation, transport, and food and beverage orders, with more than 3,000 plates of food being ordered for crew and passengers.

The annual African Union event welcomes leading government and state figures from across the continent to Addis Ababa and requires the ultimate in professionalism and discretion to meet the high expectations of attending senior state ministers, officials and high-ranking government figures. “We applied excellence which originates from my Swiss heritage and combined it with our local knowledge of the airport authorities and regulations, to deliver an unparalleled service to the African Union delegates. The nature of the meeting means time-lines are fluid and flight plans are constantly changing. This dynamic environment really tests us, but we are proud to have met all the challenges, unexpected requests, and delivered service excellence throughout the week. My team were amazing and I’m now looking forward to sharing details of the Krimson offering with delegates at Aviation Africa,” said Lemma.

Aviation Africa is taking place in Kigali from 27 & 28 February 2019, at the Radisson Blu Hotel and Convention Centre.

Krimson launched in 2014 to provide aviation services with integrity and excellence. Based at Addis Ababa Bole International Airport the team offers 24/7 support fulfilling a range of aviation services including ground handling, flight support, refuelling, charter brokerage and aviation communications. Customers originate from around the world to take advantage of the local expertise in Ethiopia and across Africa.

Krimson offers full flight support, ground handling, charter brokerage and other aviation services within Ethiopia and East Africa to a range of aviation customers including commercial airlines, business aviation operators, and trip planning companies.

Led by Dawit Lemma, Swiss citizen of Ethiopian origins, the diverse team of aviation experts is committed to service excellence combined with care and discretion. Lemma, a qualified pilot, is also President of the AfBAA Ethiopian Chapter and has been integral to the Association’s development. Krimson is a member of the African Business Aviation Association and the European Business Aviation Association.
