Luxaviation Group is announcing a strategic partnership between its dedicated VVIP helicopter service Luxaviation Helicopters and Icon Aviation, a leading business aviation and rotorcraft operator in Brazil.

The partnership extends a safe and seamless helicopter service to Luxaviation customers within Brazil, as well as the use of Icon Aviation’s 12 VIP facilities. These are strategically located across the region, including at Congonhas Airport in São Paulo, Brazil’s foremost business aviation airport.

Charlotte Pedersen, CEO, Luxaviation Helicopters says: “Establishing partnerships with local operators across the globe allows us to provide an international standard of VVIP service to our clients, combined with regional expertise.

“Icon Aviation is an ideal partner to Luxaviation Helicopters, bringing an additional six helicopters and 19 jets to our global fleet capacity. The company’s dedication to ethics, transparency and responsibility matches Luxaviation’s own, ensuring our customers are safe and supported throughout their journey.”

Décio Ricardo Galvao, CEO Icon Aviation, adds: “As the official distributor of Leonardo Helicopters’ AW109 twin-engine trekker model, clients travelling with Icon Aviation benefit from the most modern and comfortable helicopters available on the market, as well as our long-standing record of operational safety and diligence.

“We’re delighted to be joining with Luxaviation Helicopters. This partnership further diversifies the flight options available to both our, and Luxaviation’s, customers, giving us access to the international network of an acclaimed operator. As one of the world’s fastest-growing business hubs, home to 400 of the world’s 500 largest companies, Brazil is a must-visit destination for those whose business needs extend globally. With Luxaviation Helicopters, we are connecting travellers to an array of key destinations in the region, promoting ease of movement and saving valuable time for our customers.”
