Airbus Helicopters Vostok fulfill the contract with the Department of Health of Moscow for the supply of two EC145 helicopters. They are equipped with everything necessary for safe transport of the victims, including medical equipment and intensive care neonatal incubator. All equipment is certified in Russia.

The helicopters will be operated from Moscow Aviation Center (IAC), which already has experience with the technique of production Airbus Helicopters, - since the mid-2000s three EC145 helicopters are involved in health missions and rescue operations and evacuation.

 The company Airbus Helicopters Vostok won the right to supply helicopters participating in the tender last summer.

We have offered the most favorable conditions, combined with the most suitable options for the tasks performed and undertook quite difficult liabilities - including currency risk in terms of economic instability and tight delivery deadlines, " - said CEO of Airbus Helicopters Vostok Emerick Lomme. "According to the agreement, two helicopters were handed over to the customer exactly one year after the conclusion of the contract, which is very fast for a high-tech products, and the price was fixed in rubles. EC145 helicopter powered by two turbine engines Turbomeca ARRIEL 1E2 and has a takeoff weight of 3585 kg. Maximum cruising speed is 246 km / h range with standard fuel tanks - 680 km.

In developing the priority was the safety of the helicopter operation, which is reflected in such technical solutions as energy-absorbing structure of the fuselage and seats. This model is capable of carrying up to 11 people in the passenger version and the two victims lying, accompanied by three health workers - in a medical configuration.
