The International Business Aviation Council (IBAC) has once again awarded Priester Aviation, LLC, its IS-BAO Stage 3 safety certification, the highest recognition for safety for business aviation.
This certification recognizes Priester Aviation’s ongoing commitment to a rigorous safety culture. The Stage 3 audit standard is only granted to aviation companies who have ingrained a culture of safety throughout their organization, and have demonstrated integration of best-practice safety processes. Priester Aviation’s safety culture and the effectiveness of its Safety Management Systems (SMS) was rigorously audited by on-site IBAC auditors to ensure the company has fully implemented IS-BAO standards.

“Once again, we’re very proud to have renewed the Stage 3 certification, as our commitment to safety is at the top of our core values,” said Andy Priester, president and CEO of Priester Aviation. “With fewer than 1% percent of business aviators earning this distinction, it’s a tremendous honor and one that we work diligently to live out every day.”
The three-year certification requires that operational safety areas in more than 13 business categories are identified, documented, implemented and evaluated to ensure full integration. This standardization of processes ensures greater safety and prevents operational errors. Priester Aviation has held the IS-BAO certification since 2010.
