TAG Aviation Spain has successfully received renewed accreditation to the Wyvern Wingman safety program following a rigorous on-site safety audit conducted by Wyvern.
The Madrid-based based operating Centre also recently strengthened its dedication to safety excellence by achieving the International Standard for Business Aircraft Operations (IS-BAO) Stage 1 certification from the International Business Aviation Council (IBAC) which certifies the highest standards of safety, security and efficiency in business aircraft operations.
The Wyvern Wingman standard is globally acknowledged as the industry’s benchmark in aviation safety and reflects a commitment to current aviation best practices and the highest level of safety and protocol. Wingman operators must successfully pass a Wingman audit which demands transparency with respect to safety records, operational history and operating procedures, pilot experience, established training practices and a close evaluation of critical programs such as the Safety Management System and Emergency Response Plan.
“We are proud to have had our prestigious Wyvern Wingman status renewed. It is a hugely important endorsement within the business aviation industry and underpins our investment in providing best-in-class service and operations”, said Sergio Saz, Charter Services Manager, TAG Aviation Spain. “Safety is one of the core values of TAG Aviation and successful completion of the Wyvern Wingman audit is an assurance to our customers, industry partners and employees of our on-going commitment to maintain the highest safety standards at all times.”
Art Dawley, CEO of Wyvern added: “The ability to continually meet the Wingman Standard benchmark is testament to an organization’s commitment to safety. We are proud that TAG Aviation Spain has passed their second Wingman audit and to partner with the entire TAG organization. Their commitment to continually improving quality and safety has made them an industry leader in safety culture.”
